Hi,
How great you put this hat trick shim sham on your website. I want to learn this.
Just one question: what kind of hat do I need. I have a 100% woolen one, but it seems not stiff enough.
What do you use?
Thanks for the answer.

Love the steps and the banter. My only problem is going to be finding the time.
(PS Are you also going to post a hat trick tranky doo?)

We use a fully crushable wool felt fedora. There are many varieties so get a hat you want to wear around town. Lately I’ve started playing with a summer straw fedora. seems to me you can get used go anything. I have found that many tricks are more difficult with a harder hat. Soft is more forgiving but too soft makes the hat dribble. Let me know what you end up with.

Hi,
You are right practicing with the hat I started with, I became used to it and it now goes better. I am not there yet, but I keep on practicing.
